At Birch Creek Farms, we’re a family-owned business with a passion for growing fresh, healthy, and sustainable produce for our community. John Bleth and Greg Smith are the heart of the farm, working side by side to cultivate the best produce in the beautiful Walla Walla Valley.
John, who grew up in College Place, WA, has always been drawn to the outdoors. From fishing on the Snake River to gardening, his connection to the land has shaped his love for farming. After retiring from a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse at Providence Medical Center, John now focuses on the farm, though he still works per diem in healthcare to stay connected to the community. His partner, Greg, shares that same passion for farming, and together, they’ve created a farm that reflects their dedication to growing food that nourishes both body and community.

Whether you’re a subscription member, a pay-by-weight buyer, or a restaurant owner, we provide fresh, seasonal vegetables, herbs, and more straight from our fields to your table. We believe that everyone should have access to fresh, local food, and we’re proud to serve the families of the Walla Walla Valley.

Birch Creek Farms is located in the heart of the Walla Walla valley, next to Birch Creek with excellent soil composition and some of the most incredible heirloom vegetables you find! We’re family run and operated with some of the most incredible produce in the Walla Walla valley!
